We're looking for an AI Developer who is passionate about emerging technologies, agentic AI systems, and bringing AI solutions from concept to production.

This is an opportunity to join a newly established AI Hub where you'll work alongside AI Architects, Technical Leads, RPA specialists, Cloud Engineers and Product Teams to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions that create real business impact.

What You'll Be Working On

You'll contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI capabilities, including:

AI Agents and Agentic Systems

Large Language Models (LLMs)

Intelligent claim-processing solutions

Classification and decisioning components

AI-powered automation platforms

Reusable AI services and core platform capabilities

Azure-based AI solutions and integrations

The team is leveraging modern AI-powered engineering approaches, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and AI development agents, enabling rapid prototyping and accelerated delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop AI components, models, agents and algorithms from the ground up

Build production-grade AI and machine learning solutions

Develop, test and optimise prompts for LLM-powered applications

Create scalable AI services and APIs using Python

Build and enhance agentic systems capable of reasoning and decision-making

Integrate AI solutions into existing business platforms and workflows

Develop and maintain ML pipelines and deployment processes

Collaborate closely with Architects, Technical Leads and Product Teams

Support deployed AI solutions and drive continuous improvement

Contribute to AI innovation, experimentation and proof-of-concepts

Help define emerging AI development practices and standards

What We're Looking For

3-5+ years' software development experience with a strong engineering background

Commercial experience developing AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI solutions

Strong Python development experience

Experience working with LLMs, NLP and agent-based systems

Hands-on Azure cloud experience (preferred)

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud-native development

Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD and AI deployment practices

Experience building REST APIs and scalable backend systems

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices

Comfortable working in cross-functional teams

Passion for emerging AI technologies and innovation

Nice to Have

Azure AI Foundry experience

Financial Services, Insurance or highly regulated industry experience

Experience with RAG, MCPs and agent orchestration frameworks

Experience supporting AI solutions in production environments
