We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa. This role is directly responsible for overseeing all resort operations, with a strong focus on guiding the Sales & Marketing departments to drive occupancy and revenue performance. The General Manager will ensure exceptional guest service standards, uphold operational excellence, and champion best practices in environmental sustainability. Key responsibilities include interviewing and hiring senior management team members and overseeing disciplinary actions as needed.

The ideal candidate brings 3–4 years of management experience with deep knowledge of Hyatt’s operational systems, along with proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and employee/guest relations. Strong service training skills, leadership, team-building capabilities, and a results-driven, approachable demeanor are essential. The candidate must be adept at addressing challenges with effective, best-practice solutions.

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated leader with strong initiative and a willingness to invest additional time and effort to ensure optimal financial performance in the current economic climate.

Manage daily resort operations to achieve planned goals for operational integrity, measured by revenue, profits, and RevPAR index.

Maintain company standards for guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, quality assurance, property maintenance, and asset protection.

Demonstrate professional leadership to associates, guests, sales partners, community representatives, vendors, and competitors.

Monitor compliance with government regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of progressive leadership in luxury hospitality.

Education: Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Operational & Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of multi-department resort operations, financial management, and strategic planning. Proven commercial acumen in market positioning, distribution strategy, revenue optimization, and owner returns.

Performance Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.

Stakeholder Management: Experience building trusted relationships with ownership groups, corporate stakeholders, and local communities.

Luxury Standards: Deep understanding of luxury guest expectations, service standards, and global hospitality trends.

Core Competencies: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Compliance & Sustainability: Strong knowledge of health, safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability best practices.

Desirable: Experience working in remote island or resort destinations.

Passion: A genuine passion for creating meaningful guest experiences while upholding exceptional operational, environmental, and brand standards.
