Position Overview and Objective
The Senior Accountant participates in all facets of the accounting function. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for their respective functions and month-end close activities, continued process/system improvements, compliance with internal controls, audit support, and collaborating with other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant at ARCTIC WOLF, you will:
Assisting with the monthly financial close by preparing account reconciliations and journal entries for a wide array of functions.
Contribute to the timely and accurate month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, year-over-year fluctuation analyses.
Assist in the documentation of accounting processes/procedures. Assist on special projects within the accounting function, research issues and propose potential solutions/alternatives, and contribute to improved accounting processes.
Maintain and ensure compliance of internal controls within GL accounting operations and propose improvements to support evolving accounting processes and systems’ landscape.
Partner with other finance functions like Revenue, Tax, FPA, Treasury and the business; process monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and ensure the books are prepared and closed timely and accurately.
Records and understand the impacts of foreign currency transactions.
Compile PBC requests and supporting schedules for the domestic external auditor and foreign statutory auditors. Prepare supporting schedules for the footnote disclosures in the audited financial statements.
Experience and Requirements:
We’re looking for someone with experience in:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in general accounting, foreign currency translation, month end close procedures, internal reporting & analytics, and working with external auditors.
Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, with exposure to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and IFRS.
Ability to understand and interpret complex data.
Proactive self-starter capable of working independently as well as in a team.
Strong financial and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and varying deadlines.
Proficiency with an accounting ERP system such as NetSuite.
Willingness to overlap with US team hours several days per month, including during peak close periods.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a multinational company
Environment and Physical Demands
Work is primarily sedentary in nature and can be executed sitting or standing positions in an office environment.
Requires ability to utilize technology related to using a keyboard, verbal communication, and work with device screens which require visual acuity.
If located in a company office, often requires the mobility to physically navigate the space.
In the event of business travel, mobility sufficient to utilize public and private transport and navigate to essential locations.
May include moving or lifting of 11 kilograms or less (e.g. office chair, reams of paper).

Typically 10% or less of business travel
