Techdome is a product factory - a software development and services company that designs, builds, and ships products end-to-end. We do three things:

Build products from scratch for our clients.

Scale, rebuild, and optimize existing products.

Build our own in-house products:

Sparrow - an API testing tool for developers

Catalyst AI - an ERP platform for business automation

Saral Funding - a fintech platform connecting borrowers and lenders

JustInterview.ai - our AI-powered E2E hiring platform (the same one you'll meet in Step 1)

We work across Fintech, EdTech, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, Logistics, Pet Hospitality, and Manufacturing. Automation is the default, AI-powered tools are part of our daily workflow, and quality engineering is treated as a core driver of product success - not an afterthought.

The Role

Title: QA Automation Engineer

Experience: 3–7 years

You'll build frameworks, improve processes, and shape testing strategy - not just execute test cases.

AI-assisted testing (Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar) is part of how we work every day.

Quality is everyone's responsibility here, and QA plays a central role in getting it right.

What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (JS ).

Work across client products and our in-house platforms (Sparrow, Catalyst AI, Saral Funding, JustInterview.ai).

Own API testing and API automation across services.

Define test strategy, test design, and defect lifecycle management across multiple products.

Run UI automation, end-to-end workflow validation, and regression testing.

Validate data integrity with SQL queries and database checks.

Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve release confidence with quality metrics.

Identify automation opportunities and continuously reduce manual effort.

Bring AI tools into the workflow to boost coverage, productivity, and efficiency.

What we're looking for

A builder's appetite for AI tools (this is the main thing). You actively play with, experiment with, and push tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and others - using them daily to coverage, speed up work, and find smarter ways to test. This is core to how we operate, not a nice-to-have.

Strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.

Solid experience with Playwright (JavaScript/ ) and automation framework development.

Good grasp of test design, test strategy, and defect lifecycle management.

Hands-on experience with API testing and API automation.

Strong understanding of databases, SQL queries, and data validation.

Experience with BDD / Cucumber.

Comfortable in Agile/Scrum environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern testing practices.

Ability to spot automation opportunities and build scalable solutions that cut manual effort.

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate with distributed teams.

Bonus points

Background working on US Healthcare or Fintech products - highly appreciable.

ETL testing experience - highly valued.

Experience working with US-based clients or international stakeholders.

Experience with TestNG and Maven (Java tooling).

Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

Exposure to performance or security testing.

Experience mentoring team members or driving QA initiatives.

Experience measuring quality metrics and improving release confidence.

Demonstrable automation projects, frameworks, or testing innovations.
