Senior QA Engineer

Job Description:

Good understanding of testing process and several phases of testing cycle.

Minimum 8 years of experience in software quality testing

Have good experience in web, window, API and automation testing using Python

Experience in different kind of testing like functional, regression, user acceptance, system testing and performance testing.

Creating, Maintaining andExecuting test scripts for Functional, Regression, Integration test projects leveraging tools such as Selenium/UFT

Experience in Web Application Automation using tool such as Selenium (Python).

Writes and executes functional non-functional tests (hardware reliability, integrity)

Understand application requirements, write and maintain test cases according to functional and technical specifications.

Should be an Individual contributor, self-starter who can work closely with teams projects working in Scrum

Good knowledge on using any Test Management defect tracking tool – e.g. QC, JIRA

Submit defect reports, analyze patterns of defects for his/her features and help in finding resolutions.

Trouble shoot hardware anomalies narrow down the root cause.

Work closely on the deadlines of the project

Provide regular status reports to all stakeholders and highlight risks proactively over e-mail, status calls or any other mode as requested
