Data Scientist (Junior Level)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing data visualization of Xiaomi International Internet Business to provide visibility of performance trends across key markets.

Automate data quality monitoring and alerting processes and maintain data integrity and accuracy across reporting pipelines.

Support key data platform and/or data scheduling jobs to deliver insights to the business operation team in a timely manner.

Assist in identifying business issues through data analysis, providing feasible solutions to improve future performance.

Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and transform data for analysis and reporting purposes.

Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Quick BI, Power BI) to support day-to-day business decision-making.

Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and engineering to define metrics and support data-driven initiatives.

Requirements:

Maintain data processing pipeline.

Deal with large, complex data sets to meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

Good knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, Python or other analytical tools.

Experience using a BI/visualization tool and knowledge of visualization practices.

Ability to engage key stakeholders across different markets.
