We are seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to support our Managed Transportation team. This entry-level role is responsible for assisting with daily carrier operations, shipment execution, carrier onboarding, and transportation administration across our European network.
The successful candidate will work closely with Carrier Representatives, Operations teams, and transportation providers to ensure shipments are executed efficiently and service expectations are met. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a career in transportation, carrier management, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Carrier Representatives with daily transportation operations and shipment execution.
Monitor shipment status and ensure tracking updates are maintained within company systems.
Assist with carrier onboarding, documentation collection, and compliance verification.
Maintain accurate carrier records, rates, and operational data.
Communicate with carriers regarding shipment updates, delays, and service requirements.
Assist in resolving transportation issues and escalating exceptions when required.
Support appointment scheduling, shipment tracking, and proof-of-delivery collection.
Help maintain transportation management systems (TMS) and carrier databases.
Collaborate with Operations, Account Management, and Carrier teams to support customer service objectives.
Assist with carrier scorecards, KPI reporting, and service performance monitoring.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience Required:
0–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or administrative support roles.
Internship or previous experience within logistics or transportation is considered an advantage.
Exposure to European road transportation, LTL, FTL, or carrier operations is beneficial but not required.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Fluent English required.
Additional European languages are a plus.
