Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Experience:
Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer leaves with a positive impression of Zambrero.
Prepare and serve food items according to Zambrero’s recipes and quality standards.
Engage with customers to provide information about our menu, the "Plate 4 Plate" initiative, and other store offerings.
Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
Store Operations:
Assist in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
Monitor and restock inventory as needed, ensuring adequate supplies for daily operations.
Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Support new team members through training and mentorship.
Cost & Quality Management:
Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while maintaining high food quality.
Assist in tracking and reporting inventory usage, helping the store meet its cost management targets.
Health & Safety:
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents to the Store Manager promptly.
Key Requirements
Experience:
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Personal Attributes:
Enthusiasm for food, customer service, and Zambrero’s mission.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
A positive and collaborative attitude.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
First Aid Certificate (desirable).
