Job Description
The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of establishing an execution framework on the project that complies with the contract and ensures the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and Fluor profitability of the completed project. This position is accountable for performing all project management responsibilities on a medium to large sized, moderate risk engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) or services project or assigned responsibility for a substantial area of a mega project.
Key Responsibilities:
Key part of the role is to form part of a project team to work under a master Services Agreement (MSA) for onshore and offshore projects and lead a team in development of offshore scope workorders.
Develop workorder proposals for specific offshore scopes of work released under the agreed terms of the MSA.
Lead the successful delivery of offshore projects across all phases (front end (FEED), engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning)
Ensure strong focus on HSE, quality, cost, and schedule performance throughout project execution
Support the Project Director in delivering projects in line with contractual, commercial, and execution baselines
Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, project baseline, and key procedures
Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, collaboration, and timely payments
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, vendors)
Oversee project controls including planning, cost management, change management, and risk mitigation
Accurate and transparent communication of project status and forecast of most probable outcomes to support office & Corporate reporting
Lead and develop project teams, fostering a high-performance and safety-driven culture
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal twelve (12) years if non-degreed.
A minimum of 5 years in project management roles on offshore projects is required
Proven experience in executing projects of a size at $10-50MM or greater
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
Solid technical understanding relevant to project execution
Knowledge of applicable regulations and industry standards
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Able to work in a multi-functional team and matrix organization, drawing personnel from within a wider MSA team
Experience in executing work in a distributed / workshare framewor
