About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AI Product Manager with strong expertise in Databricks and Snowflake platforms to define and deliver AI-driven and agentic capabilities across enterprise data governance platforms.
This role focuses on platform-native AI, governance automation, intelligent workflows, and strong data foundations, enabling scalable governance and improved data usability.
What You’ll Do
Define and execute the roadmap for AI-enabled governance capabilities across Databricks and Snowflake platforms
Identify and deliver high-impact use cases, including:
Automated governance onboarding and assessments
Metadata enrichment, classification, and tagging
Lineage insights and recommendations
Workflow automation and policy enforcement
Design agentic workflows that:
Automate governance processes across data products
Leverage platform-native capabilities in Databricks and Snowflake
Define requirements for:
LLM-powered features (search, recommendations, metadata interpretation)
RAG-based discovery and knowledge experiences
Drive platform-native implementation by:
Leveraging Databricks (Unity Catalog, Agent Bricks, Genie, AI/ML capabilities)
Leveraging Snowflake (Horizon, Open Catalog, Cortex AI capabilities including Cortex, Coco app, and application-based governance workflows)
Partner with engineering and platform teams to:
Translate product needs into scalable solutions
Define success metrics (accuracy, adoption, cost, performance)
Improve user experience through:
Simplified governance workflows
Embedded AI capabilities
Intuitive discovery and access experiences
Manage and scale a governance product delivery team
Partner with engineering, enterprise data office, business, and domain teams to deliver governance outcomes

Technical Product Management experience
Qualifications
Required
8–12+ years in product management, data platforms, or AI-driven products
Strong experience with data platforms:
Databricks (Unity Catalog, pipelines, governance) or
Snowflake (Horizon, Open Catalog, data sharing, governance)
Strong working knowledge of data modeling:
Conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Understanding of entities, relationships, and key metrics
Ability to translate business requirements into data structures
Experience building AI-enabled platform features, including:
Workflow automation
Metadata or governance automation
LLM or AI-driven capabilities
Strong understanding of:
Data governance concepts (metadata, lineage, access controls)
Data structures and semantic consistency
Experience defining:
Product roadmaps
Use cases and feature prioritization
Success metrics and adoption goals
Ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver production solutions
Preferred
Experience working with governance platforms and platform-native AI / agentic capabilities, including:
Collibra (control plane, metadata, policy management)
Databricks Unity Catalog (lineage, access, governance)
Snowflake Horizon / Open Catalog (governance, sharing, discovery)
Databricks AI tooling (e.g., Agent Bricks, ML/LLM integrations)
Snowflake AI capabilities (e.g., Cortex, automation frameworks)
Experience designing:
Agentic workflows or multi-step automation
AI-driven governance or data platform capabilities
Familiarity with:
API-driven integrations
Metadata-driven automation
Federated or open catalog frameworks
Nice to Have
Experience building AI-driven governance or workflow solutions
Exposure to:
Data product or data marketplace models
Governance automation frameworks
Familiarity with evaluating AI systems:
Accuracy, latency, cost, usability
Experience in MDM
Experience in regulated environments

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $148,495.00 - $174,700.00

Compensation
This Security Engineer role pays $148k-$175k/yr. Within typical range for security engineer roles in United States.
