Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a deep specialization in the Microsoft AI ecosystem, particularly Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI services.

In this critical role, you will serve as our primary technical expert responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, optimal performance, and robust support of our enterprise AI agents and solutions built on the Microsoft Cloud. You will act as a core technical anchor - troubleshooting complex integrations, optimizing infrastructure, and guiding internal teams and clients on conversational AI best practices.

Focus Area: Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, MLOps/Support Operations

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support & Incident Management

Ecosystem Expert: Provide expert-level technical support for Microsoft Copilot Studio, Copilot Agents, and underlying Azure AI services via JIRA and MS Teams ("Copilot AI Support").

Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to AI agent functionality, custom connectors, enterprise integrations, and performance bottlenecks.

SLA Adherence & Escalations: Own and manage incoming critical support queries, ensuring response acknowledgments within strict SLAs (e.g., 2 hours during an 18x5 window), and seamlessly escalate deep infrastructure challenges to internal engineering or Microsoft Support.

Solution Optimization & Lifecycle Management

Prompt & Flow Engineering: Offer expert guidance on prompt engineering, conversational flow design, and agent optimization strategies to maximize accuracy and UX.

Operational Monitoring: Implement, manage, and scale proactive monitoring solutions for AI agents and Azure infrastructure to catch performance anomalies before they impact clients.

Integration & Security Support: Maintain custom connectors, API data flows, and integrations with enterprise systems. Ensure all Microsoft AI solutions strictly adhere to security best practices, compliance regulations, and data governance policies.

Documentation & Mentorship

Knowledge Sharing: Author and maintain comprehensive support runbooks, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles to empower self-service and team efficiency.

Team Mentorship: Work alongside core development teams to provide systemic feedback on recurrent bugs, while mentoring junior engineers on Microsoft AI technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative technical field.

Core Operations: 5–7 years of professional experience in a technical support, operations, or MLOps role heavily focused on cloud-based AI/ML solutions.

Conversational AI Expertise: 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience supporting and managing Enterprise Conversational AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Microsoft Stack & Integration: Strong proficiency in troubleshooting custom connectors, Microsoft Graph, and the Power Platform ecosystem (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).

Azure AI & LLMs: Advanced expertise in monitoring and supporting Azure AI services, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, Semantic Kernel, and foundational Large Language Models (LLMs).

Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills paired with the clear communication necessary to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Scripting & Tooling: Experience with Python for programmatic agent interaction, log analysis (via Semantic Kernel), or custom support scripting.

Identity & Access: Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and the Microsoft 365 Agents SDK.

Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent credentials.

Modern Workflows: Understanding of reasoning engines, multi-agent autonomous workflows, and experience using ITSM tools like JIRA Service Desk.

Pay: ₹511,174.60 - ₹1,833,311.51 per year
