About the role:

This position is to provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate records of accounts receivable under his or her control.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily bank reconciliations including foreign currency accounts in Workday.

Preparation of daily banking journals, adhoc bank transactions for entry into the general ledger.

Processing of daily bank credits, receipting and maintaining customer accounts in MYOB.

Investigation of unknown receipts, liaising with the bank and RSM office managersf to identify where these should be recorded in the general ledger/debtors ledger;

Performing monthly reconciliations of debtor balances between Workday and MYOB receipts for a month and liaising with key RSM staff to resolve discrepancies.

Daily cashflow analysis and reporting to senior management.

Manage the Accounts Receivable e-mail inbox to ensure timely responses to queries;

Responsible for recovery of invoices issued to ex-employee invoices for any excess payments/ recoups and coordinating actively with People culture team.

Continued documentation and updating of Accounts Receivable processes;

Cross-skilling with other areas within Group Finance; and

Share knowledge with team members through effective communication.

Develop, maintain working relationships with multiple office manager and people culture team.

About you:

Education Requirements:

Essential

Certificate/ Diploma in accounting/ bookkeeping (Completion of Year 12 mentioned earlier)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes

Essential

Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role/ accounting role.

Good in organising and process oriented for any follow-up within and outside RSM.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Exposure to coding invoices

Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping procedures

Strong problem solving and query resolution skills

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Desirable

ERP knowledge : Workday and MYOB experience would be an added advantage.
