Ready to be part of the action?

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, ETF Analytic and Data Solutions with extensive expertise in the Canadian ETF landscape to lead the strategic evolution of our exchange-traded products. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of deep domain knowledge, commercial growth strategy, and a proven track record of managing complex financial products. You will be the primary architect of our ETF data product roadmap, ensuring our marketplace remains the premier destination for institutional investors. This role requires a highly developed level of professional, technical, and market microstructure knowledge combined with the ability to influence and negotiate across senior stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

Lead the long-term roadmap for ETF analytics, focusing on liquidity metrics, basket composition data, and integration specifically for the Canadian market.

Exercise autonomy to make critical decisions directly impacting the ETF analytics portfolio and resolve complex issues within the business unit. Advise senior leadership on broader marketplace data strategies.

Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept and regulatory filing to launch and post-trade analysis. Design product pricing, packaging, and distribution strategies for global redistributors and institutional clients. Identify "white space" opportunities in the market data ecosystem. Translate high-level business goals into short-term tactical execution strategies (up to a 1-year decision-making horizon) to successfully deliver complex project milestone outcomes.

Client Engagement: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with clients to translate complex data pain points into high-value product features.

Functional & Peer Guidance: While operating primarily as an individual contributor, provide strong project, technical, and functional guidance across the immediate division. May plan, assign, and direct the project workflows of collaborative, cross-functional team members.

Stakeholder Negotiation and Influence: Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Sales teams to navigate the Canadian regulatory environment (CIRO). Utilize deep expertise and negotiation skills to align diverse internal and external stakeholders on product policies and platform standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Quantitative Analysis or Strategy within the financial services industry.

Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Canadian ETF ecosystem, including creation/redemption mechanics, tax structures, and listing requirements. Strong understanding of the Investment Management value chain and how advisors consume portfolio analytics.

Client Exposure: Proven experience engaging with institutional investors in Canada.

Growth Mindset: Demonstrated ability to scale financial products or platforms through strategic positioning and partnership.

Education: University degree in Business Management, Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field

Technical Expertise:

Advanced proficiency in SQL (Snowflake preferred) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for rapid data prototyping.

Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, or Amazon Quicksight) to turn "stale data" into actionable dashboards.

Familiarity with modern data stacks including AWS (S3, EMR) and dbt workflows.

Strong grasp of market microstructure and trading technology; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or internal exchange proprietary systems.

Nice to Haves

Experience with cloud-native machine learning stacks. AI & Innovation: Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Generative AI and prompt engineering to accelerate requirements gathering and market sentiment analysis.

Knowledge of emerging trends like Tokenized Real-World Assets (RWAs) and Agentic AI in finance.
