What are your contributions to the team?
Provide expertise and recommendations on learning needs and skills management to management and internal clients to help them adopt best practices in learning
Design and develop learning solutions (ILT, Elearning, micro learning, SOJT) that meet defined quality and timeline standards, in partnership with on-site Organizational Learning teams and various functions within the organization
Work in partnership with various service providers and track deliverables
Identify opportunities to improve the pedagogy of existing training content
Participate in and/or lead non-development projects within Organizational Learning
Make changes to the training catalog in the People Fluent Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure tracking of learning solutions
How to thrive in this role?
You hold a Bachelor degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education
You have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience as an instructional designer or three (3) years as a multimedia designer
You are proficient in adult learning theories (e.g., Bloom’s Taxonomy, the ADDIE model, the Kirkpatrick model, the 70-20-10 model, Design Thinking, LXD, UDL)
You have excellent communication skills in English and French (Spanish is a plus)
You have very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
You have excellent proficiency in online content creation software (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate)
You have experience with a learning management system (LMS)
You are familiar with integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies into instructional design processes
You do constant research and adoption of new learning technologies with the goal of improving learner performance and experience
You demonstrate attention to detail, focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork, and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations
You have experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is a plus, including knowledge of manufacturing processes, regulations, technical documentation, and applied technical training models
