Position Summary:

As an experienced Project Manager, you will lead a strategic evaluation of our PCW (Pharmacy Consumer Wellness) Finance Operations team and support the development and implementation of recommendations to achieve operational efficiency, reduce cost to collect, and improve collections performance. This role will be critical in driving the analysis of current processes and workflows, organizational structure, and vendor landscape to identify improvement opportunities while helping to drive transformational change across the Finance Operations function.

You will accomplish this by:

Leading and executing end-to-end Finance Operations transformation initiatives by assessing structures, processes, systems, and vendor landscapes to identify inefficiencies and drive optimization, automation, and digital expansion.

Partnering cross-functionally to reduce exceptions and enhance workflow efficiency while standardizing policies, procedures, and reporting.

Managing project delivery from planning through execution, coordinating resources, aligning stakeholders, and tracking progress, risks, and outcomes with clear communication to leadership.

Developing data-driven recommendations, business cases, and future-state operating models, supporting change management and implementation roadmap execution.

Building strong relationships across all levels, presenting insights, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable results.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of project management experience, preferably in finance operations or revenue cycle management

3+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or management consulting

Demonstrated experience leading strategic assessments and transformation initiatives

Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget

Willingness to travel up to 10% (including by plane)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with revenue cycle optimization in healthcare or pharmacy settings, including collections operations, accounts receivable management, and finance transformation or shared services optimization initiatives.

Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet) and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and data/reporting tools; exposure to RPA/AI a plus

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication with ability to influence across teams and present to all levels

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field; equivalent years of relevant work experience may substitute

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field preferred

Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
