Summary:

UST is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in data platforms, SAP ecosystems, and enterprise business processes to drive requirement gathering and solution design. The role requires working closely with business stakeholders across functions. SAP is not mandatory. It is for Bangalore location and 5 days of work from office.

The Opportunity:

Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements

Translate business needs into functional specifications and data-driven solutions

Work with technical teams on data platforms (Databricks, data engineering) and SAP systems

Support data modeling, reporting, and integration initiatives

Facilitate workshops and ensure alignment across business, technology, and data teams

Drive end-to-end requirement lifecycle, including validation and UAT support

What you need:

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments

Strong experience in requirement gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder management

Prior exposure to data platforms (e.g., Databricks) and SAP (ECC/S4HANA)

Experience working in discrete manufacturing domain is highly preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with multiple business groups

Ability to work in onsite-offshore model and coordinate across teams

Desired Skills:

AI & Data Skills (Desired)

Exposure to AI/ML use cases in business processes or data analytics

Experience using AI-assisted tools (Copilot, claude, etc.) for analysis, documentation, or productivity

Understanding of data-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, or automation

Key Competencies

Mature communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively

High level of ownership and professionalism
