DESCRIPTION:

Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Engineer II, Software Quality Assurance, where you'll contribute to ensuring the excellence of our software solutions. You'll work with advanced technologies to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this position, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate software applications, maintain automated test suites, and contribute to quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare Tosca Test scripts and test cases based on functional specifications and end-user requirements

Need to develop and maintain Tosca automated test cases of Web applications in Selenium WebDriver using the Java programming language and the Tosca tool

Developed and maintained automated test cases of Desktop applications using the Tosca tool

Participated in end-to-end scenario creation, which included functional and infrastructure utilization, and demonstrated to the client

Participated in smoke and regression test executions

Executing the automation test suites and reporting the results to management

Logging the defects, re-testing, and closing them

TOSCA Admin knowledge(User enrollment process & Framework) as an added advantage

Validating the change orders in the production environment and QA environment based on the changes in the ticket

Participating in proactive monitoring in the prod environment daily

Track the incoming issues/service requests through the ServiceNow incident management tool, meet response and resolution SLA, and provide a solution for the issue

Having meetings with PSM regarding business functionality changes and enhancements

Implemented GIT version control for test automation

Implemented CI/CD Pipeline in Azure DevOps for automation script executions

Performed Infrastructure testing based on change requests

Supporting team members

Experienced in the quest for maintaining the manual test cases and test results

Followed the Agile process, daily stand-ups & sprint meetings

Manual test case creation and execution planning

Involved in functional and non-functional testing

Training and Other achievements involved:

1) AS1 TOSCA Certification

2) AS2 TOSCA Certification

3) API & SAP Certifications added advantages for this position

Education & Experience:

Any Master's Degree ( BE, MBA & MCA) in Toxicology, Chemistry, Biology, or other life sciences.

Overall, 5 Years of experience in Software Testing and SAP (Fiori & S4 Hana) Application support experience with TOSCA automation primarily

Minimum 3 years of Experience in automation (TOSCA Automation tool), learning core concepts of automation.

Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to accurately handle large amounts of detailed information.

Proven ability to work in a team environment and to work independently.

Proven ability to learn sophisticated databases.

Attention to computer-use ergonomic issues.

Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Promotes understanding of customer requirements and expectations.

Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.

Skills:

Overall, 5 Years of experience in Software Testing and SAP (Fiori & S4 Hana) Application support experience with TOSCA automation primarily

Minimum 3 years of Experience in automation (TOSCA Automation tool), learning core concepts of automation.

Any master’s degree preferred: MBA/MCA/BI

TOSCA Automation Experience with the framework; developed at least 1 complete application (End-to-End).

TOSCA Certified professional for the 2 core certifications

Experience in Tosca Test suite with navigation and steering capabilities

Hands-on test case creation, management, and execution of quality assurance testing; provide oversight of business user acceptance testing.

Provide business abstraction of UI and API interfaces to enable non-programmers to do test automation.

Provide mentoring and guidance to other members of the Testing team.

In the implementation of the overall automation testing strategy, bring script standards and best practices.

Should have strong experience in test automation and software testing experience strong experience.

Should have good knowledge of the software testing life cycle and test automation.

In-depth experience in writing detailed and accurate test cases, test scripts, and test results.

Working with the team to ensure the Product Backlog is refined for at least two sprints ahead for effective planning of work; maintaining and tracking sprint backlogs in tools

Mentoring & training teams on Agile/Scrum to ensure efficiency in process operations; motivated high performance amongst the Team by operating and introducing appraisal schemes, promotion committees, and annual rewards & recognition.

Liaising with different teams such as IT Operations, Architecture, Support, Development, Release Mgmt., UAT, BA, Program Manager, and Service Transition for delivery of projects

Establishing a common defect lifecycle across multiple teams & defect triage process

Roles:

Uploading the artifacts in SharePoint for customer review.

Prepared the test data where required.

Involved in walkthroughs given by Functional consultants and raised queries where there are gaps in processes.

Prepared Test scripts for regression testing using the TOSCA Automation tool.

Coordinated with the Tricentis team to resolve complex issues that the team encountered while automating the scripts.

Peer reviewing the automated cases as per TOSCA guidelines.

Regression Testing (Automation) using TOSCA.

Test Case Design implementation for User Stories & regression Testing.

Test data management for the QA Environment.

Implementing TOSCA Best Practices & solving issues related to TOSCA automation.

Delivering automation test cases in the sprint.

TOSCA DEX setup & CI Integration
