What You Will Do

You will:

Manage the full product and service lifecycle, including requirements, selection, launch, updates, obsolescence and discontinuation.

Gather and prioritise product requirements based on market, customer, competitor and regulatory insights.

Develop and manage strategic OEM relationships, including commercial terms, global agreements and supplier performance.

Lead global tenders, RFQs and strategic sourcing activities in collaboration with Procurement, Sales and Supply Chain.

Identify new OEMs, category opportunities and commercial growth initiatives that support global product and service performance.

Ensure accurate product, pricing and lifecycle data in Business Central and MDM systems.

What does success look like?

Deliver Results

A person is successful in this role when they:

Deliver maintained, updated and commercially relevant agreements with the TOP-20 Strategic OEMs, including buying, preferential distribution and/or service agent agreements, with clear validity, applicable terms and improved or extended conditions where possible.

Achieve a clear and up-to-date multi-card product portfolio for BDM, Project Sales, Sales and Service, enabling teams to select the right products for quotations, sales and service activities.

Improve vendor and product decision-making by delivering an annual Vendor Rating Report by the end of March for the TOP-20 Strategic and/or Global OEMs, using measurable qualitative and quantitative criteria where possible.

Manage monthly brand representation meetings with the TOP-20 Strategic and/or Global OEMs, ensuring clear ownership, agreed actions, deadlines and follow-up.

Create measurable value by supporting sales and service opportunities through timely RFQs, improved OEM terms, updated product launch documentation and commercial training materials for key products in the portfolio.

What You Bring

Required

Experience in category management, product management, procurement or a similar commercial-technical role within a technical B2B environment.

Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across internal and external stakeholders.

Analytical, structured and commercially minded working style, with the ability to translate complex information into clear actions.

Excellent command of English and Dutch.

Preferred

Experience in the maritime industry or with complex technical products, services or systems.

Experience working with OEMs, global agreements, supplier performance management or ERP/master data systems.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or a similar field.

Salary

Between 5.170,52 EUR‬‭ – 7.386,19 EUR‬‭ Monthly and is depending on relevant skills, experience, role level and internal pay framework.
