What are your contributions to the team?

As an Analyst in the Marketing & Communications Strategy and Governance team, you will be reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Governance for the Marketing and Communications department. The Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting and shaping Bombardier's strategic direction and ensuring robust governance practices. This position involves supporting the strategic planning cycle of the company, ensuring efficient and smooth governance standards and conducting specific analyses for the Marketing, Brand and Communications team.

The main responsibilities include:

1. Strategic planning

Supporting Bombardier’s Marketing, Brand and Communications 5-year strategic plan and provide regular updates to support Bombardier’s governance processes.

Support the organization of the strategic cycle with the Marketing, Brand and Communications Leadership team and ensure efficient discussions.

Coordinate and participate in the strategic planning meetings.

Partner and collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Aftermarket Service, Defense, Finance, Customer Service and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on the strategy.

2. Governance at the Marketing, Brand and Communications level

Plan, coordinate and prepare presentations on behalf of our leadership team.

Improve and/or automate the team's tools and processes to increase quality and productivity.

Maintain a dashboard of KPIs for daily, weekly or monthly reviews with the Leadership team.

Responsible for maintaining dashboards & key databases to provide relevant insights to Senior Leadership and other teams.

Support the Marketing, Brand and Communications teams through ad hoc requests.

3. Strategic projects

Conduct in-depth market research to identify Marketing, Brand and Communications industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities.

Conduct comparative analyses and benchmarking between our competitors' capabilities and our capabilities in Marketing, Brand and Communications.

Develop and implement strategic frameworks to evaluate Marketing, Brand and Communications opportunities and support decision-making processes.

Present analysis and/or recommended strategy to the Leadership team.

Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine corporate strategies and long-term objectives.

Support the teams with the Budget planning process.

How to thrive in this role?

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Finance or related field; Master’s degree in Strategy, Marketing, Project Management, Finance, or MBA (an asset).

You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Marketing, Finance, Strategy and/or Management Consulting, or a related discipline.

You have relevant experience in the business aircraft or aviation industries.

You have strong project management and organization skills.

You have experience in developing business cases.

You have the ability to align and drive stakeholders towards required decision points.

You are results-oriented and demonstrate leadership.

You have strong analytical skills (Finance, Marketing).

You have experience in managing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders in a large company (Legal, HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, etc.)
