Drive commercial growth in Food Safety consulting
Diversey Consulting is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth across the DACH region.
This is a hybrid role combining technical expertise in food safety with commercial leadership. You’ll work closely with major food organizations, helping them design and implement world-class solutions - while driving revenue, partnerships, and market expansion.

What you’ll be responsible for
Drive business growth across the DACH region, owning pipeline, revenue and results
Develop and execute a commercial strategy to Diversey Consulting’s footprint
Identify and build strategic partnerships within the food industry
Lead consultative sales processes, from needs assessment to solution design and closing
Act as a trusted advisor to clients (Quality, Operations, Food Safety leaders)
Own regional P&L performance and business outcomes
Coordinate and manage delivery teams (consultants, partners, laboratories, etc.)
Ensure successful execution of client projects
What we’re looking for
✅ Must-have:
University degree in Food Safety, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Veterinary Sciences or similar
Strong technical understanding of food safety and operations
Fluency in German and English
✅ Experience & mindset:
Experience in business development, sales, or consultative roles
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate expertise into business opportunities
Ability to assess client needs and propose tailored, value-driven solutions
Natural relationship builder with strong communication skills
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-driven
Comfortable managing both clients and cross-functional delivery teams
