The opportunity
This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing audit and accountancy firms in the UK and to help shape the future of our Financial Services audit team. As a priority area for growth in our UK business you would join the existing team who work on Financial Services clients and be able to have a major impact on the continued development of our Financial Services practice.
As a Senior Manager at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
Manage your own portfolio, assist in the running of the Financial Services team and have an input to wider workflow planning
Take new opportunities and spot ways we can keep evolving what we do
Deliver revenue and profitability targets on your portfolio
Foster enduring client relationships
Develop and inspire our smarter people plan
Day to day duties
Manage a varied portfolio of Financial Services audit clients alongside the provision of certain ancillary services, supported by specialists where required
Ensure compliance with UK GAAP or IFRS and practical guidance is provided on regulatory matters such as tax and VAT regulations, requirements of UK law and the principles of good governance
Ad hoc duties will arise in supporting the local and national FS partners as necessary
What are we looking for?
Working knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP
ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified
Experience of auditing clients within the Financial Services sector
Experience coaching and mentoring junior members
