The opportunity

As an Assistant Manager at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

Own and manage a client portfolio with minimal support from senior staff

Support in delivering revenue and profitability targets

Foster enduring client relationships

Develop and inspire our smarter people plan

Day to day duties

Manage a portfolio of clients where your experience of P11ds, IHT and personal tax compliance

Deal with ad hoc duties as they arise You will have strong experience of working within practice and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery

You will be keen to develop further and continue your professional development.

Lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team so supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best

What are we looking for?

CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified

Our clients come from all industries, so exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage

Previous personal/private client Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential

Strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation
