About the role

El Gerente Jr de Producto definirá y lidereará la estrategia de producto y portafolio en Centroamérica, asegurando su alineación con las necesidades del mercado y los canales, con el fin de maximizar la competitividad, rentabilidad y crecimiento sostenible de las marcas.

Desarrollar la estrategia de portafolio: Optimizar la propuesta de productos mediante la simplificación, segmentación y alineación con las oportunidades del mercado y el consumidor.

Gestionar la estrategia de pricing: Definir e implementar estrategias de precio que aseguren competitividad, valor percibido y maximización de la rentabilidad.

Impulsar la innovación y lanzamientos: Liderar el pipeline de innovación, asegurando lanzamientos exitosos y relevantes para cada canal y segmento.

Fortalecer el posicionamiento de marca: Ejecutar iniciativas que incrementen la diferenciación y relevancia de las marcas en el mercado.

Asegurar ejecución transversal: Coordinar con Ventas, Trade Marketing, I+D y Supply Chain para garantizar consistencia estratégica y excelencia en la implementación.

Potenciar el uso de analítica del portafolio: Implementar herramientas y métricas para la toma de decisiones basadas en datos.

Maximizar la rentabilidad del negocio: Identificar oportunidades de optimización del portafolio y eficiencia comercial para mejorar márgenes.

Licenciatura en áreas afines, preferiblemente:

Administración de Empresas

Marketing

Ingeniería Industrial

Economía o Finanzas

Negocios Internacionales

Deseable:

Maestría en Administración de Empresas (MBA)

Especialización en Marketing Estratégico, Pricing o Gestión de Producto

Experiencia:

7–10 años en áreas comerciales, marketing, category management o gestión de producto.

Experiencia específica en el rol:

3–5 años en posiciones como Gerente de Portafolio, Product Manager, Category Manager o Brand Manager.

Experiencia en la industria:

Experiencia previa en la industria de pinturas arquitectónicas, recubrimientos o materiales de construcción.

Conocimiento del mercado de pintura decorativa: segmentos (premium, mid, economy), canales (retail, distribuidores, ferreterías, contratistas).

Entendimiento de variables técnicas básicas del producto (acabados, rendimiento, calidad, aplicaciones).
