CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position:
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Senior Systems Engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms Business, you'll be a member of a highly skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of advanced autonomous systems. We are looking for a dynamic engineer with a broad range of engineering or systems engineering experience to contribute to design and test of various systems with the aspirations of becoming a team lead within the organization. In this role you will manage a digital model of the system and leverage your engienering experience to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities for a unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) that is actively going through production and test.

Strong background in the Undersea Domain and Systems engineer process, concepts, and principles
Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicles (AUV/UUVs) technologies, principles, theories and concepts, as well as practical experience
Experience working in a test or production environment, working with government/Navy organizations, and/or vendor management experience
Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools
Generation of technical engineer design products through use of applicable standards, best practices, and tools throughout the systems development life cycle
Experience or desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment developing prototypes and testing cutting edge technology
