As an Import Export Specialist at ICON, you will ensure compliance and efficiency in international trade operations. You will manage the logistics of import and export activities, facilitating the movement of goods while adhering to regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do:
You will take responsibility for supply chain and procurement deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the import and export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments.
Conducting audits and reviews of import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Resolving any logistics issues or discrepancies related to shipments, customs, and trade compliance.
Staying informed about changes in trade regulations and providing guidance on best practices for international shipping.
Your Profile:
You will bring relevant supply chain and procurement experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, international business, logistics, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in import/export coordination or logistics, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and compliance.
Proficient in import/export documentation and processes, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
Fluency in English, Brazilian Portuguese (native), and Spanish (is a plus, not mandatory), as will work with other LATAM countries
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
