HR Specialist-Brazil
About the role
Job Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Delivery
Execute local recruitment in Brazil, covering job postings, resume screening, candidate communication, interview scheduling, background checks, and offer management.
Source and recommend suitable candidates promptly to meet business department requirements.
Maintain a candidate pipeline and continuously local recruitment channels in Brazil.
Prioritize the development of partnerships with universities, vocational training institutions, community resources, and local talent markets to identify effective sourcing channels.
Facilitate university-industry collaborations and partnerships with training institutes to establish a steady talent pipeline.
Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, including candidate volume, interview status, offer status, and onboarding progress.
2. Local HR Support
Assist with foundational HR operations for Brazilian employees, including onboarding, offboarding, document collection, and contract/file processing.
Support daily HR administrative tasks, such as employee communications, attendance tracking, leave management, and work scheduling.
Assist the company in understanding and ensuring compliance with local employment regulations in Brazil.
Collaborate with the Global HQ and Americas HR teams to provide necessary HR data, reporting, and process support.
3. Administrative & Office Support
Manage general administrative affairs for the local office in São Paulo.
Support daily office operations, including facility management, vendor coordination, document filing, employee communications, and general administrative liaison.
Assist with office arrangements and local support initiatives as required by business development needs.
Job Requirements:
Must possess valid legal work authorization and be eligible for full-time employment in Brazil.
Must be based in São Paulo, Brazil, to support local recruitment and necessary on-site operations.
Proven recruitment experience in Brazil, with a solid understanding of local sourcing channels and candidate communication practices.
Prior experience or established networks with local universities, vocational training institutions, community resources, or talent pools are highly preferred.
Familiarity with fundamental Brazilian labor laws and local employment compliance requirements.
Professional fluency in either Chinese or English for effective business communication.
Working proficiency in Portuguese is required to handle daily communication with local candidates, employees, and vendors.
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills, coupled with high execution capabilities and a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to adapt to cross-cultural team communication, proactively report progress, and drive initiatives to completion.
Prior recruitment experience in IT, IDC (Internet Data Centers), data centers, outsourcing services, or blue-collar/technical roles is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior HR or Recruiter experience within the local Brazilian market.
Strong familiarity with the São Paulo local talent market.
Established networks and resources for campus recruitment, university-industry partnerships, and vocational school collaborations.
Recruitment experience in Data Centers, IT Operations, Engineering & Technical roles, Facility Management, and Asset Management.
HR experience within a multinational corporation or the Brazilian branch of a Chinese enterprise.
Trilingual proficiency in Chinese, English, and Portuguese is highly preferred.
