Location: Pune, India
Role Description
It is crucial for the bank to understand how profitable each businesses activity is and Finance has a responsibility to understand precisely the resource commitment the bank makes to any given client or transaction e.g. cost, capital, funding, liquidity and risk. Finance is playing a central role in keeping the bank focused on simplification and financial resource management.
With our diverse teams in 47 countries, we offer a broad portfolio of capabilities. Our key functions range from Regional Finance, Finance Chief Accounting Office, Group Finance, Treasury, Planning and Performance Management, and Investor Relations to enabling functions such as Finance Change and Administration.
These teams make sure we cover all Finance specific aspects for our internal and external stakeholders such as shareholder, employees, clients, and regulators. Together, it is the role of Finance to oversee all financial details for Deutsche Bank globally.
Global Reporting role encompasses the following key functions:
Regulatory and Public disclosures in year-end and quarter-end reporting related to balance sheet, solvency and securitization topics.
Ad hoc reports to regulators for the above related requests
Internal management reports for the above related requests
M-on-M movement analysis for balance sheet and off-balance sheet products and understanding of the business drivers.
Drive and contribute to infrastructure projects such as the deployment of new regulatory requirements.
UAT testing on new changes in regulatory framework to comply with Taxonomy rules.

Your key responsibilities
Be responsible for the following key outputs:
Contribute on public disclosures in year-end and quarter-end reporting related to Balance sheet or Solvency topics.
Participate in Ad hoc reports to regulators for the above related requests.
Preparation of movement analysis and apprising on movements to Group Finance FDs on all risk/balance sheet related topics
Perform M-on-M movement analysis for balance sheet products and understanding of the business drivers.
Support Internal management reporting (regular as well as on request).
Contribute to regulatory submissions on monthly and quarterly basis viz. FinRep, FSB, GSII etc.
To perform UAT testing on key changes implemented to comply with new taxonomy rules.
Updating the “KODs” for the processes, on regular basis to document key changes \ process improvements.

The candidate must be a highly motivated and high performing individual.
Candidate must be able to handle all levels of complexity in their product coverage or area under control, be able to multitask with relative ease and be flexible enough in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities and be comfortable dealing with a sometimes stressful and fast-paced month end priority-driven environment.

Education / Certification
Qualified Accountant- CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA or Postgraduate in Commerce
