Team Profile:

A&M's Global Tax business has a team of highly skilled and seasoned tax professionals, experienced in providing practical tax advice to corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction life cycle. We are now rapidly expanding across Asia and looking for bright seasoned TAX professionals for our India office.

A&M professionals come with deep operating and financial-related experience. The team uses an integrated, focused, and tailored approach to rapidly identify and understand potential deal breakers, value drivers, and other areas of specific interest to our clients. Our professionals have significant experience on both buy side and sell side transactions across multiple different industries

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

Basic knowledge of Indirect tax laws particularly Goods and Services Tax (GST) and developments in the law

Basic knowledge of financial accounting aspects

Experience in executing GST compliance mandates for clients, preparation and submission of GST returns

Compliance Data analysis, handling and resolution of client queries

Compilation and filing of GST registrations

Experience in liaisoning with tax authorities in the course of departmental audits, etc.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

Commerce graduate/ post-graduate/ Semi-Qualified CA

1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in the Indirect tax/GST field – preferably from a Big4

Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and creating presentations
