Project title: Automation tool operational excellence

Project’s Description:

Micron Manufacturing is deployed with Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) which reduced human touch points and improved traceability with safety and quality in mind.

Intern will have opportunity to participate in daily and weekly engineering sessions with the engineering team and different department to contribute ideas and resolve operational issues.

Intern will learn the processes in AMHS and apply problem-solving methodologies, coupled with data analytics to solve practical issues in manufacturing and bring real impact in the state-of-arts semiconductor manufacturing process.

Project Scope : Learn the functions of AMHS in both Assembly and Test operations. Learn various datamation tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SQL)

Deliverables (Expected Learning Outcomes):

To be able to identify opportunities to streamline our operations with the use of data analytics

To be able to identify improvement opportunities in our AMHS

Skillset Require: General problem solving, data analytics

Course of interests: Data analytics related courses ie. Computer Science or Engineering related courses ie. Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics Automation

Duration Period: 4-6 months
