Web Application Senior SW Engineer:

We are looking for Software Engineers for the development and maintenance of modern web applications based on Java architecture and the Angular framework.

Main Responsibilities:

Design, development, and maintenance of enterprise web applications.

Implementation of front-end interfaces based on Angular 18 or higher.

Development and maintenance of backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Design and consumption of REST APIs.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams for technical and functional analysis.

Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to software development best practices.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Fields of Study:

Computer Science

Computer Engineering

Essential Technical Skills:

Java 21

Angular 18 or higher

Spring Boot 3 or higher

Spring Data

Hibernate 6 or higher

REST APIs

UML

Architectural patterns: MVC and MVVM

Optional Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Secure Software Development principles

Knowledge of OWASP Top 10

Experience in enterprise environments with complex web architectures

Soft Skills:

Autonomy in working independently

Problem-solving attitude

Ability to work in a team

Coaching mindset and willingness to share knowledge

Salary range for this position: EUR 32,000 – 37,000 gross per year;

Employment level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the Metalmeccanico National Collective Labour Agreement.
