Are you an experienced Montessori teacher looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact while being part of a supportive and collaborative team?
At Ivy Lane Montessori & After School, we provide a nurturing Montessori environment where children are encouraged to learn and develop through their hands, hearts, and minds. Located in the heart of Dublin city, we are passionate about creating a warm, inclusive, and inspiring environment for both children and educators.
We are currently seeking an experienced Montessori educator to join our team and co-lead one of our Montessori classrooms alongside a fellow teacher.
Please note: This position is open only to candidates who are currently based and settled in Ireland. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider overseas applications.

About the Role
Working alongside a fellow Montessori Teacher, you will co-lead a Montessori classroom where children are encouraged to develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
You will play an important role in creating a calm, engaging, and well-prepared Montessori environment while supporting each child's individual learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
Co-lead a high-quality Montessori programme in accordance with Montessori principles and best practice.
Create and maintain a beautiful and engaging Montessori environment.
Support children's learning, development, independence, and wellbeing.
Plan and implement meaningful learning experiences.
Maintain observations, learning records, and developmental documentation.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Ensure compliance with Tusla regulations, Aistear, Síolta, and company policies.
Contribute positively to school life, including team meetings and family events.
Requirements
Minimum Level 6 qualification in Montessori Education, Early Childhood Care & Education, or equivalent recognised qualification.
Minimum two years' experience working in a Montessori setting.
Experience leading or co-leading a Montessori classroom.
Excellent spoken and written English.
A genuine passion for Montessori education and supporting children to reach their full potential.
Desirable
First Aid and Child Protection training.
Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and Early Years Regulations.
Interests, talents, or hobbies that can enrich children's learning experiences.
Role Information
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Three days per week are 8:30am–6:00pm and two days per week are 8:30am–3:30pm.
School Calendar: Open 47 weeks per year, with paid closure periods including:
Two weeks at Christmas
One week at Easter
Two weeks in August
