Children's Summer Camp Leader - LEGO Camp Facilitator/Educator

Who We Are

Bricks 4 Kidz is an international children’s enrichment franchise which provides play based educational programmes through LEGO®. Each programme has been designed to teach the principles and methods of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), to children aged 5-12. All of our activities are designed to engage students in a fun learning environment, with LEGO®-themed lessons and workshops.

Bricks 4 Kidz Galway now have a number of openings for Halloween camp leaders and facilitators to join their team on a part time basis.

Full training provided | Camp Hours 10am to 2pm | 25 hours per week |

Monday start 8:15am, Tuesday to Friday start at 9:40am. Finish at 2:15pm.

What We are Looking For

- Successful candidates must have experience working with children, preferably in a teaching environment.

- While been responsible for groups of up to 12 children, you must be capable of engaging and teaching the children using the Bricks 4 Kidz camp structure and LEGO build lesson plans.

- Full training will be provided along with details of camp structure and lesson builds.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

- You must have experience working with children aged 5 - 12 in a classroom or camp setting.

- You must enjoy working with kids. At Bricks 4 Kidz we learn through play, as leader you are expected to provide a fun environment while maintaining control and have excellent time management skills.

- You must be approachable and have strong interpersonal skills.

- You should have an ability to multitask, you will be required to provide assistance to several children & at times work under pressure.

- You will need to have a fun, bright personality.

- Driving license and own vehicle a benefit as camp locations across Galway County

- All staff must undertake / be Garda Vetted as part of the recruitment process

Bricks 4 Kidz Camps are held in a different location in Galway each week throughout July & August. We are recruiting staff members for 2 teams - Urban and Rural.

Galway City and surrounding arounds, eg Knocknacarra, Claregalway, Moycullen, Newcastle. Rural Team: Camp locations change each week, locations include Clarenbridge, Athenry, Tuam, Mountbellew, Loughrea, Ballinasloe, Kinvara, Headford. Transport is essential.
