About the role

Talent Coordinator

Australian Venue Co. (AVC) is home to over 200 iconic pubs, bars and venues across Australia and New Zealand. Our venues are powered by great people, and we're looking for a Talent Coordinator – Campaigns & Apprenticeships to help us attract, engage and develop the next generation of hospitality talent.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging Talent, Recruitment or Hospitality professional who is passionate about candidate attraction, sourcing and workforce development.

Working closely with the National Talent Manager and Talent team, you'll play a key role in supporting recruitment campaigns, building talent pipelines and helping grow AVC's apprenticeship and early careers programs.

What You'll Be Doing

Recruitment Campaigns & Talent Attraction

Coordinate and support recruitment campaigns across AVC and NZVC

Build talent pipelines for operational, leadership and culinary positions

Source candidates through LinkedIn, SEEK, industry networks and other channels

Support venue openings, seasonal hiring campaigns and business growth initiatives

Assist with recruitment marketing and employer branding activities

Engage and nurture candidate talent pools for future opportunities

Apprenticeships & Early Careers

Assist with apprentice attraction and talent pipeline initiatives

Build relationships with training providers, culinary schools and industry partners

Coordinate apprentice recruitment activity and onboarding support

Assist with reporting and workforce development initiatives

Support future talent pathway programs across the business

What We're Looking For

Essential

Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR coordination or administration

Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills

Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Experience using recruitment, HR or applicant tracking systems

Confidence sourcing candidates and engaging talent pipelines

Desirable

Hospitality industry experience

Exposure to apprenticeship, traineeship or early careers programs

Experience recruiting culinary, operational or hospitality talent

Experience with recruitment marketing or employer branding initiatives

Experience working with training providers, educational institutions or industry partners
