As an IT Business Systems Analyst IV, you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems. You will interact with others and resolve issues with IT support teams. We appreciate your new perspective on solutions for our ever-evolving IT needs!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

Acts as liaison between the IT development group and business units for the design and implementation of new systems and improvement of existing systems.

Serves as subject matter specialist and business partner between IT and business/end-user team(s)

Creates annual budget analysis and cost management for responsible application including projects, ongoing maintenance, support and licensing

Translates business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to operational standards

Conducts requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and provides recommendations based on collected information

Ensures the maintenance, development and enhancement of existing application systems meet the organizational business objectives and IT standards

Remediates application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, incident, change and problem management standards using ServiceNow

Evaluates, develops and implements new application systems and develops technical requirements following standards for software development lifecycle

Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives

Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for cost reduction, avoidance and improved application performance

Modernizes, upgrades and conducts application health checks as the need arises to ensure system stability

Collaborates with assigned resources to handle project-related activities for assigned applications

Prepares recurring application dashboard metrics and reports to show analysis on specific key data points and provides cost transparency for applications, as requested

Owns the IT relationship with an assigned HSEI director. Goes beyond liaison work to become a trusted advisor on all application and technology needs, proactively bringing solutions to the table before problems surface, and representing IT with confidence in business-facing meetings

Champions an AI-first thinking across an application portfolio - actively identifies where AI agents, Copilot Studio automations, Power Platform tools, or agentic workflows can eliminate manual processes, reduce risk, or accelerate business outcomes for the team

Drives solutioning sessions that turn business pain points into buildable products - partners directly with developers, architects, and AI builders to design what gets built, and advocates for the right solution

Education/Years of Experience:

Required: High school diploma or GED and a minimum fifteen (15) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum ten (10) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum eight (8) years' IT experience

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex concepts into actionable insights

High adaptability and learning agility, with curiosity and initiative to explore and apply AI and emerging technologies

Results-driven with accountability for delivering outcomes across the full lifecycle of solutions

Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
