Senior Manager - Scrum Master

Position Summary

Carries out and facilitates Scrum events, removing impediments, promoting collaboration, supporting the Product Owner, and driving continuous improvement. Ensures the effective implementation of the Scrum framework, creating a conducive environment for the team's success, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

Coach Scrum teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, fostering self-organization, continuous learning, and a strong Agile mindset across the organization

Monitor team performance by interpreting Agile metrics and reporting frameworks, delivering insights on productivity, velocity, quality, and overall progress

Design and implement tools and processes to evaluate Scrum adoption, drive continuous improvement, and enhance team effectiveness

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and serve as a liaison between teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and alignment

Develop and manage communication, documentation, and knowledge-sharing strategies (e.g., wikis, tools) while incorporating stakeholder feedback into process improvements

Required Qualifications

7+ years of scrum master or project management experience

Demonstrated strength in problem-solving and sound decision-making

Proven ability to collaborate effectively and contribute within a team environment

Strong growth mindset, with a focus on agility and continuous development of self and others

Ability to execute and deliver results, including effective planning, implementation, and ongoing support

Preferred Qualifications

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Experience with AI related projects

Master's Degree

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
