About Our Role
The Talent Partner plays a critical role in supporting Simplot's manufacturing operations by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across a diverse portfolio of roles. Based at our Kelso facility and reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Manager, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for high-volume production, skilled trades, maintenance, technical, and entry-level salaried positions.
This role combines hands-on recruitment delivery with strategic talent partnership. You will collaborate with leaders to develop workforce plans, build talent pipelines, provide market insights, and deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
What You Will Do
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from intake meeting through onboarding.
Partner with operational leaders, HR teams, and hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies aligned with workforce needs.
Build and maintain internal and external talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
Develop sourcing strategies and utilize job boards, referrals, social media, community partnerships, and other channels to attract talent.
Support recruitment across production, skilled trades, maintenance, technical, and entry-level salaried roles.
Provide insights on talent market trends, competitor activity, and recruitment best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring teams on candidate assessment, selection, and recruitment processes.
Deliver a positive candidate experience while effectively managing internal and external applicants.
Educate and coach leaders on effective recruitment and selection practices.
Leverage recruitment technology, reporting, and metrics to drive hiring outcomes and continuous improvement.
Support broader Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives across the Australian region.
About You
Experience recruiting in manufacturing, operations, skilled trades, industrial, or high-volume environments is highly preferred.
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple role types.
Experience sourcing passive candidates and developing talent pipelines.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies (SAP SuccessFactors experience highly regarded).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, diversity, equity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Current C Class Driver's Licence and willingness to travel when required.
