We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Manager – Key Accounts to oversee a key education contract in Geelong.

THE POSITION

This is a senior operational leadership position responsible for the overall performance, compliance, and commercial success of a multi-faceted catering contract. You will lead a large, diverse team delivering services across retail outlets, residential dining, functions, and off-site catering for camps and sporting programs.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing strategic and operational leadership across two education sites

Managing end-to-end catering operations including retail, residential dining, functions, and off-site service delivery

Building strong, collaborative partnerships with client stakeholders to ensure service excellence and contract success

Driving financial performance, KPI delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives

Leading, mentoring, and developing a workforce of approximately 50 team members

Embedding a positive, high-performance culture focused on service, safety, and accountability

Ensuring full compliance with food safety, allergen management, and environmental standards

Identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and innovation

THE PERSON

You are a seasoned hospitality or catering professional with strong multi-site or large-scale operational experience. You bring a calm, solutions-focused leadership style and a genuine passion for developing people.

You will demonstrate:

Proven senior hospitality or catering management experience (multi-site, hotels, large-scale venues, or institutional catering)

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and financial performance

Extensive operational experience across catering, retail, and functions

Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergen management practices

Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills

A people-centric leadership approach with experience leading large teams

Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving capabilities

A proactive, professional, and adaptable leadership style

A current driver’s licence
