Experienced Project Specialist, Air & Sea

DSV Air & Sea is a global freight forwarder operating major centralized logistics facilities across all Australian state capitals. Multi-modal international imports/exports, complex customs brokerage, and project-based industrial freight.

The Project Specialist, Air & Sea is a freight-forwarding and logistics coordination position focused on managing project cargo and import/export shipments by air and sea. It is not an engineering project management role; rather, it combines operations, customer service, freight coordination, documentation, and project logistics.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinate project planning and execution of import and export shipments.

Manage air freight and sea freight bookings.

Prepare and verify shipping documentation.

Track orders and shipments from origin to destination.

Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, customs agents, and customers.

Handle transport bookings and cargo movements.

Support tender submissions, pricing, and project quotations.

Resolve shipment delays and operational issues.

Maintain strong customer relationships and meet service KPIs.

Typical Requirements

Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Knowledge of air and sea freight processes.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Experience with logistics software such as CargoWise is highly valued.

Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.

Pay: $8,750.00 – $10,333.00 per month
