This job is a member of the Labor Relations Team within the Corporate Affairs Division.

Responsible for maintaining working partnerships with operational areas, which have organized work groups for the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and administering collective bargaining agreements.

What you'll do

Provides prompt and effective support on labor-related issues to management within multiple corporate departments

Manages disputes and negotiates resolutions between union representatives and management

Negotiates new work rules for organized employee groups

Manages the administration and interpretation of labor agreements for assigned work group

Provides support for grievance handling up to and including arbitration

Develops and maintains responsible relationships with labor organizations representing assigned work group

Ability to travel

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field or equivalent experience/training

5 years experience in HR, Labor Relations, or operational management of unionized employees

2 years in a supervisory/management position

Experience or formal training in early dispute resolution strategy

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Previous contract administration and negotiation experience

Advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field or Human Resources certification

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels

Ability to quickly respond to change and communicate new directions to client groups
