Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Product Manager – Valves & Valve Actuators (Inbound) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of valve and actuator product portfolios within the Buildings Business Unit.

This role is responsible for translating market insights, customer needs, and competitive dynamics into differentiated, high-performing products. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, demonstrating strong critical thinking, technical depth, and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive product innovation and execution.

This position plays a key role in ensuring Siemens delivers competitive, scalable, and application-driven solutions across HVAC and building automation markets, including mission-critical applications such as data centers and other high-performance environments.

As a Product Manager – Valves & Valve Actuators (Inbound), you will:

Own and drive product strategy for valve and actuator portfolios, balancing growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.

Define and continuously refine target market segments, customer personas, and key applications across HVAC and building automation environments

Conduct market research, voice of customer (VOC) analysis, and competitive benchmarking, translating insights into clear product requirements, differentiated value propositions, and prioritized development initiatives

Lead the product roadmap, ensuring alignment across short-term execution priorities and long-term strategic growth opportunities

Drive and execute new product introduction (NPI/NPL) initiatives in agile, cross-functional environments, including business case development, product definition and requirements, collaboration with R&D through design and validation, launch readiness, and post-launch performance monitoring

Perform ongoing portfolio, pricing, and gap analysis to ensure strong competitive positioning

Serve as the technical product expert for valve and actuator solutions, supporting internal stakeholders and key customer engagements

Define go-to-market strategy, including product positioning and messaging, target applications and segments, and launch prioritization

Partner with Marketing to ensure effective and timely execution of go-to-market plans

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Applications, and Operations to ensure feasibility and manufacturability, supply scalability and cost alignment, and market adoption and customer success

Operate with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and adaptability, driving decisions and execution in dynamic and evolving market conditions

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related technical field

5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Systems/Application Engineering

Strong technical knowledge of:

Control valves and actuator technologies

HVAC, hydronic systems, and building automation applications

Proven experience in:

Product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management

Translating market insights and VOC into actionable product requirements

Executing in fast-paced, cross-functional environments

Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking, structured problem solving, and decisive execution

High level of communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate with employees and other team members, including at a senior management level and global leadership

Knowledge and experience working in agile product development processes

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Ability and willingness to travel internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within Building Automation, HVAC, or hydronic product portfolios

Exposure to mission-critical applications, such as data centers or healthcare environments

Experience with competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and portfolio positioning

Familiarity with stage-gate or agile product development processes

Proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving adoption

Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and act with speed and accountability

The pay range for this position is $112,669 - $193,147 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
