HOW A SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Support & create web design, development, production, testing & troubleshooting projects of medium to high complexity. Websites may incorporate multiple learning objects such as readings, photographs, video surveys & assessments.
Follow standards & procedures in the production and distribution of work products. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team that generates economies & fast delivery schedules.
Design & produce a wide range of communications & products for IT applications/systems.
Recommend strategies to sharpen communications themes for IT applications/systems.
Create videos in support of training courses for virtual distribution
Create training and continuing education graphics materials.
Design & produce original illustrations, charts, schematics, placemat products.
Plan, coordinate & develop graphics in support of IT applications/systems.
Develop original, innovative graphic designs, formats, templates, & standards.
Apply the principles of typography, color theory design content, aesthetics & composition to incorporate into IT applications/systems & associated training material.
Design identity, iconography, artist concepts, & three-dimensional exhibit & display design.
Adhere to established technical production & quality control standards & guidelines.
Test products, including Web and online, for display & operability.
Ensure quality control, graphic usability, deliverability & operability.
Ensure IT applications/systems are in compliance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Experience: 10+ years
Required skills and experience:
Demonstrated experience in web design, development, production, testing & troubleshooting.
Demonstrated experience with UX/UI as well as multimedia & graphics production.
Demonstrated advanced experience developing, designing, & creating projects using SharePoint.
Demonstrated experience implementing dynamic web pages, custom application plugins & widgets, & customer Cascading style sheets.
Demonstrated experience in 3 or more of the following applications: Ajax/Java Script, HTML 5, Vue, CSS, MySQL.
Demonstrated experience using Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Captivate & Catasia.
Demonstrated experience using approved section 508/accessibility compliance tools.
Demonstrated experience with designing & developing original, innovative graphic designs, formats, templates, and standards for product design.
Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired skills:
Experience with WordPress, Confluence, and HIVE
Demonstrated experience implementing dynamic web pages, custom application plugins & widgets, & customer Cascading style sheet.
Location: McLean, VA (On Customer Site)

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $163,200 - $220,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Compensation
This Software Engineer role pays $163k-$221k/yr. Within typical range for software engineer roles in United States.
