About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a GTM Import & Export Analyst (Temporary).

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do:

Job summary

The major role is to Ensure that all Import virtual operations V5, comply with the Mexican trade laws.

Responsible for maintaining RK and value documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures to monitor all the obligations to keep all ops according to compliance law.

Job responsibilities

a) Ensure compliance all Import virtual V5 Operations, preparing the proper documents, through Software -TSMX.

b) Working in conjunction with Custom Broker.

c) Performance Special Import Operations: V5.

d) Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes.

e) Ensure the data integrity in TSMX through weekly and monthly validations.

f) Comply with all recordkeeping requirements of operations performed.

g) Rule 3.1.42, 4.3.22 and 1.4.14 recordkeeping management.

h) Support to ensure the full compliance with New Customs Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications, Free trade agreements, etc.

i) Achieve metrics and goals related to Trade Compliance.

j) Support internal & external customs audits, i.e. SAT, internal audits, Customs firms, Quality Systems, etc.

k) Comply with all Eaton Training program.

l) Promotes the company’s mission by actively supporting Eaton’s safety and values as well as quality policie

Qualifications:

Education level required

Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business or related field.

Years and area of experience required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Foreign Trade, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.

Experience in import/export operations, customs broker management, and regulatory compliance.

Technical knowledge

Knowledge of Foreign Trade and Mexican Customs procedures and compliance.

Familiarity with USMCA regulations.

Experience with Foreign Trade software systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (audit formulas).

Experience managing virtual import operations (V5) and working with Customs Brokers.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience supervising Foreign Trade operations or managing indirect teams.

Experience in customs or trade compliance audits.

Exposure to import/export budgeting processes and volume management.
