Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.

How you will contribute

With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

Position Objective:

Lead and execute medium- and long-term research and development projects for the global chewing gum platform, ensuring technical innovation and business continuity from idea conceptualization through scalability and tangible production at pilot plant and manufacturing lines.

Main Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation: Design and execute medium- and long-term innovation projects for the global chewing gum platform.

Full Cycle Management: Accompany and lead the complete product cycle, ensuring a successful transition from idea conception and laboratory experimentation to tangible production at pilot plant and manufacturing lines.

On-Site Work & Operations: Execute technical tests, formula development, and critical activities on-site within the laboratory and pilot plant.

Global Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate activities and maintain fluid communication with diverse stakeholders at a global level.

Technical Specifications Management: Manage and document area requirements using Mondelēz's internal specifications system, ensuring accurate loading of technical data.

Technical Adaptation in Confectionery: Apply prior technical knowledge in confectionery (gums, gummies, or similar) to accelerate learning and propose disruptive solutions in the chewing gum category.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Academic Background: Completed Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related fields.

Languages: Advanced English.

Experience:1 to 3 years in confectionery products in general.
