Finance Technology Project Manager – Consolidation & Group Reporting (Contract)

Are you an experienced Finance Technology Project Manager with a background in financial consolidation, close, and group reporting systems?

We're supporting a major organisation through a critical transition programme and are looking for a Finance Technology Project Manager – Consolidation & Group Reporting (Contract) to lead the delivery of technology change across key Finance reporting platforms.

This isn't a large-scale ERP implementation. Instead, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical Finance systems that underpin period-end close, financial consolidation, external reporting, and statutory compliance.

Success in this role will require exceptional programme leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver under fixed regulatory and reporting deadlines.

What you'll be doing

You will be:

Leading end-to-end delivery of Finance reporting and consolidation technology projects

Coordinating Finance, Technology, Architecture, Engineering, and third-party vendors

Managing risks, dependencies, governance, and controls across multiple workstreams

Ensuring reporting platforms remain robust, auditable, and ready for standalone operation

Supporting transition to BAU, including vendor handover and support readiness

Qualifications

Ideal Background

You will have experience within:

Finance Technology Project Management experience within consolidation, group reporting, or financial close environments

Experience delivering projects in regulated, audit-driven organisations

Strong understanding of statutory reporting timelines and governance requirements

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at both senior Finance and Technology levels

Highly Desirable Experience

You will have experience within:

IBM Controller

Workiva

Cognos

Oracle Financials

IFRS-related change programmes

Financial consolidation and statutory reporting processes
