About the role
The Job
As our Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Finance & Systems), you will play an important role in strengthening Milence's financial planning, reporting, and performance management capabilities.
By combining financial analysis, modelling expertise, and financial systems knowledge, you will help create the insights, tools, and processes that support informed decision-making across the business.
Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and financial reporting while helping to continuously enhance financial systems, reporting tools, and data structures. Working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider organisation, you will transform financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support sustainable growth and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and key business drivers.
Translate financial and operational data into meaningful insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
Help maintain and continuously improve financial systems, planning tools, and reporting capabilities.
Develop dashboards and management reports that provide visibility into business performance and support data-driven discussions.
Partner with colleagues across the organisation to provide financial analysis, modelling, and insights that support business objectives.
Help ensure financial data is accurate, consistent, and accessible for planning, reporting, and analysis purposes.
Continuously enhance financial systems, data structures, and reporting tools to support efficient, scalable, and reliable analysis, while exploring opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions that strengthen finance processes and support data-driven decision-making.
Support system integrations, improve data flows, and contribute to automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability.
Prepare clear and engaging financial reports, presentations, and business analyses.
Identify opportunities to strengthen FP&A processes, financial models, reporting frameworks, and systems as Milence continues to grow.
Who Are We Looking For?
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
You bring 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business controlling, or a similar analytical finance role.
You have experience developing financial models and using quantitative analysis to support planning and business decisions.
You understand budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance management processes.
You are highly proficient in Excel and have experience working with Vena, Power BI, or similar reporting and analytics platforms.
You have a good understanding of financial systems, data structures, and reporting processes.
You enjoy working with data and using insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
You are interested in leveraging automation, data solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance finance processes and ways of working.
You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
You communicate clearly and effectively, making complex financial information accessible to different audiences.
You build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively across teams.
You are curious, thoughtful, and motivated by learning, improving, and helping others make informed decisions.
