About the role

As our highly valued Corporate Hospitality & Events Coordinator based in Brisbane, your role will provide exceptional front-of-house, hospitality and event support, creating a welcoming and professional experience for our visitors, employees and stakeholders.

You’ll make an impact by:

Delivering exceptional front-of-house service, creating a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, employees and guests

Coordinating internal and external events, including physical room set-up of operable walls and furniture configurations, catering, AV support and event logistics

Supporting Board and executive meetings with high-quality hospitality and event coordination

Maintaining presentation standards across office facilities, meeting spaces, kitchens and shared areas

Managing kitchen and catering supplies, stock levels and inventory requirements across multiple floors

Providing concierge and administrative support, including mail management, onboarding support and inbox management

Acting as a key point of contact for facilities-related issues and coordinating timely resolution through internal systems

Building strong relationships across the business while delivering a consistently high standard of customer service and support

This role is about far more than reception or event support. You'll play a key role in creating the experience people have when they walk through our doors.

You'll be the face of Great Southern Bank's Brisbane head office, ensuring every visitor, employee and stakeholder receives a warm welcome and exceptional service. From coordinating executive and Board events to maintaining premium workplace standards, you'll help create an environment that reflects who we are as an organisation.

No two days will be the same. You'll balance hospitality, event coordination, facilities support and administration while working with people at every level of the business.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Experience in hospitality, event coordination, concierge, workplace experience or customer service environments

A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines

Experience coordinating events, meetings or hospitality services

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high workplace presentation standards

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels, including executives and Board members

A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and AV technology

High school completion or equivalent qualifications
