Role Overview:
We’re looking for a proactive and relationship driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to own our end-to-end recruitment function and help fuel Smokeball’s next stage of growth. In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers across the business to attract, engage, and secure top talent whilst creating an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll also strengthen our EVP, improve hiring processes, and leverage AI powered tools to build high quality pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full‑cycle recruitment across all departments and ensure an outstanding candidate experience
Partner with hiring managers to define role needs, craft job briefs, and guide decision‑making
Build strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and AI‑enhanced tools
Continuously refine recruitment processes, workflows, and interview frameworks
Activate and represent Smokeball’s EVP across all candidate‑facing touchpoints
Provide hiring insights and reporting to support workforce planning
Contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives and support BAU activities
About You
Experience in Talent Acquisition or internal recruitment, ideally within tech, SaaS, legal tech, or professional services
Skilled at building trusted stakeholder relationships and influencing outcomes
Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and structured interviewing
Strong communicator with the ability to craft compelling recruitment content
Organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities
Experience with employer branding and EVP development, desirable
