Reporting to the Director of HR & Corporate Services, this is an exciting opportunity to own and lead the end-to-end recruitment processes for Australia and New Zealand. The business continues to grow presenting opportunities to develop innovative campaigns and build our employer brand. The TAM will develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to reduce dependencies on external recruitment services through the utilisation of ‘head hunting’ techniques and tools to secure talent directly.
Your tasks
Creating, managing and delivering the talent acquisition strategy for Australia and New Zealand
Working with stakeholders across the business to identify talent acquisition requirements and where possible be able to proactively plan campaigns through the year
Work with wider HR team, marketing and responsible sales manager to build an employer brand at key universities
Identify suitable platforms to actively promote the culture and career profiles of Rohde & Schwarz Australia as a company, and of members of the team
Work with colleagues in Munich and Singapore to roll out new company ATS to managers in Australia
Headhunt and actively source candidates for engineering and support roles
Manage hiring campaigns across Seek, and industry specific sites
Collaborate with marketing to launch high-impact recruitment ads and content across social media platforms
Build and maintain a robust recruitment database and long-term talent pipeline
Develop policies and material to support Veteran, early careers, women in engineering and so on as well as participate in industry recognised programs in these areas
Lead and/or participate in adhoc projects to help strengthen our EVP (e.g. attaining recognition from Great Place to Work)
Develop and manage structured employee referral and alumni reactivation programs
Conduct first-round interviews and/or pre-screening for values and culture alignment
Ensure consistency and fairness across all recruitment campaigns and compliance with our Anti-discrimination exemptions
Work closely with hiring managers and broader HR team to ensure exceptional onboarding experience and new hire integration
Track performance such as time to hire, candidate 10-day turnaround time etc.
Provide best practice interview support and guidance
