About the role
Description
An opportunity exists for an Account Director in our Workplace Risk Practice in the Sydney office to provide consultancy advice and support to our clients. Willis Workplace Risk Practice is the leading provider of strategic workplace risk services to Australia’s Top 500 companies.
Reporting to the NSW State Manager, the primary focus of this role will be to provide an innovative and flexible approach to clients’ Workplace Risk programs, recommending solutions and overseeing sustainable improvements in their performance.
The Role
As a member of a highly motivated team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing and further developing key client relationships
Providing our clients with technical and strategic advice in the area of premium, claims and injury management
Report writing and implementation of client retention strategies
Assisting in identifying new business opportunities for the Company
Support the broader Willis team as a technical expert in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation
Work proactively with the NSW State Manager to monitor team workloads, ensure account profitability and suggest and implement operational efficiencies
Manage company profile with industry contacts by identifying and maintaining strategic relationships in all key markets
Be an active and leading member of our consultancy team, willingly working on projects assigned across the team
Qualifications
The Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience working for an Employer, Insurer / Agent, or broker in a senior position
Significant experience working in National Workers Compensation environments
Premium and Policy management in both Fund States and Risk States
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Proven leadership skills and experience in supervising, coaching and mentoring team members
Proven ability to organise, prioritise, project manage, work well under pressure and balance competing priorities effectively
Team player with a desire to work in a fast paced environment
Tertiary qualification and previous experience in consulting desirable
