This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position.
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry driven solutions through our 5 core specialist Practices; Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.
FDM is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator located in Houston to support a project in the Commodities sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 12 month but may be extended.
This role will be Hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.

Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator
Role Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator to support a business-facing Salesforce environment used for internal pre-trade workflows, approvals, onboarding, and issue triage. This role is ideal for someone with Salesforce admin certification and strong business-facing experience who can diagnose user issues, support day-to-day platform operations, and escalate technical issues when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories and platform changes
Support users with triage of Salesforce issues and error messages
Diagnose whether issues are caused by user error, configuration, component behavior, or code defects
Handle admin-level changes such as field updates, picklist values, and other declarative configuration
Coordinate with technical teams when issues require developer intervention
Support business stakeholders directly and manage communication throughout the issue resolution process
Assist with platform support across the Americas and London time zones as needed
Work closely with internal stakeholders on pre-trade workflows, approvals, conflict clearance, and KYC-related processes
Required Qualifications
Salesforce Administrator certification
Experience in a business analyst or admin-style role
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work directly with business users and translate technical issues into clear next steps
Comfortable managing ambiguity and prioritizing support requests in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to escalate appropriately
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a technical BA or Salesforce admin role
Exposure to complex Salesforce environments
Experience supporting internal-facing enterprise systems
Familiarity with workflows, approvals, integrations, and case/ticket triage
Ability to work independently as a sole contributor
Ideal Candidate profile
Solid Salesforce foundation, but not necessarily developer-level
Comfortable being business-facing and handling ad hoc support requests
Able to learn the organization’s processes quickly
Practical, adaptable, and resilient when working with demanding stakeholders
Based in Houston or able to align with Houston business stakeholders
Reporting / Team Context
The role sits within the business side of client fulfillment
Works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams in other regions
Supports a global user base across the Americas and London
